I love talking about music theory, so I figured this course would be a great way to teach someone everything I can! I plan on covering topics such as intervals, chord types, common chord progressions, ear training, scales, and maybe even a bit of jazz improvisation. All you need in order to be successful for this course is some experience in playing an instrument, a stable internet connection, and, most importantly, curiosity!
I am currently a sophomore in college, and I have been playing saxophone for over ten years. I have been involved in several jazz clubs over the years, Through my training in the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, and with the guidance of knowledgeable mentors, I have been the recipient of several local, regional, and national music awards. In addition to playing the saxophone I also produce music, and hope to invest more of my time producing in the future.
