Running is one of my passions, and it's changed my life in countless ways. It puts me in a stellar mood, enhances my productivity, and has helped me develop a strong work ethic. I want you to love running, and to see why it's so great. I'll share with you how I cultivated a genuine enjoyment for running, physically, philosophically, and emotionally. I can guarantee that improvements will show if the effort is put it. I'll show to you the crucial difference between working smart and working hard. Put down your watch, your phone and your music. Get out the door, and feel your foot hit the ground as you move forward. Whether you're a young person looking to cut that average pace down or someone who's literally never gone on a run in their entire life, I can help you, and convince you why you should too. Invest in your health, I promise you it's worth it!!
I'm a member of the Varsity Track and Cross Country teams at Vassar College, and have been running since elementary school. I was the Captain of both XC and Track teams at my high school. More recently, I've approached 80 miles per week of running, and have built to that point over time through years of training. I have personal bests of 26:24 in the 8k, and 9:11 in the 3k. This past cross country season, I placed 29th at our Championship League Meet and tended to place 3rd or 4th for the team as a sophomore.
Running gear and a willingness to work hard.
