Our Mission

Sivana was created with a simple goal—to bring people passionate about teaching and people passionate about learning together into one community.

What Is Sivana?

It's a cross between a learning community and an AirBnB-type marketplace where anyone can sign up to be a tutor/teacher/expert in any topic, set their price and availability, and people can book them for one-on-one lessons by video. Once someone is an expert, they can also post and build a following for each subject to get more students.

How Does It Work?

Become a member of our community (it’s free) and then browse and subscribe to any subjects you’d like to learn. Connect with the expert and then begin learning! If you have a subject you’d like to teach, you can become an Expert on the platform with one click and then follow the steps to: (1) create a subject, (2) set your pricing, and (3) set up your availability for booking lessons.

How Are We Different?

We’re an open platform that doesn’t think accreditation or what school you went to determines your value as a teacher. We also invite you to teach any subject that you find worthwhile. We only care that you understand the subject thoroughly, and can explain the material to your students. The relationship between a teacher and a student is an important one and we want everyone in our community to respect that important bond.

Sivana is leading to a world where one person can seek out a teacher of whatever it is he or she wants to learn, or teach another person what they know.
